今天在OSFlash邮件列表看到一封回复，主题为“Red5 v0.6 RC1 Release date updated – 10.23.2006”，然很遗憾没有找到原信……不过在回复中看到Red5作者John Grden的内容如下
We apologize for the delay, I think it suffice to say everyone is a bit caught up in "life" and work and we need another week to organize and put the installers together, dot the "i's" and cross the "t's" as it were ;)

大体意思就是说，本来定于今天（周一）发布的red5 0.6 RC1由于某些个人原因（生活原因？）而推迟一周。
此前，Red5在RIA Forge已经放出0.6的版本，但是OSFLASH仍然显示0.5的状态。
